Parent Education & Support

Historically, SMART has hosted Parent University workshops that focus on targeting the ongoing need for informative and preventative support for families struggling with substance misuse and/or mental health related issues. SMART continues to consistently work on developing accessible parenting workshops, to offer reliable support through a parenting landscape that is ever-evolving.

The goal of these workshops is to strengthen family systems and teach parents & loved ones how to build assets in our elementary-aged through college-aged youth. These workshops are determined based on relevant social & community issues, and trends that affect all community members across the lifespan.
